During one of our brainstorming sessions, we realized the need to offer our visitors an innovative and unique tour of our beautiful city of Angra at night. Thus, we present to you the Night Cuisine & Fado Tour!
We’ll start our journey with a brief walking tour of the city, where we’ll share insights on the rich history and significance of our island throughout the years. Our first stop will be a local food spot, where we’ll serve you a cheese board with fresh cheese, croutons, and olives from Porto Martins. You’ll also enjoy two types of jam with homemade bread, and a glass of Biscoitos wine or local beer, juice, coffee, or water.
After enjoying the delicious cheese and wine, we’ll move on to the second food stop, passing through the main square and up the main street on our way. Here, you’ll taste two different local pastries and sip on a refreshing cup of coffee, juice, or water.
At our third stop, we’ll serve you a smoked fish board, a “firefighter” chorizo, and another glass of wine or local beer, juice, coffee, or water.
To conclude the night, we’ll visit a Fado house, where you’ll enjoy live performances of this beautiful Portuguese singing style. We’ll serve you a traditional “Caldo Verde” (cabbage soup), a “Bifana” (Pork sandwich), olives from Porto Martins, and a glass of wine, juice, or water. To top it off, you’ll also get to enjoy a Dona Amélia pastry and coffee.
